Just got these amazing looking carbon fibre wing up kit for the BNR34 rear spoiler. These raises up the wing by 10cm. Procured these from Japan and it's rare as hell to get one. This kit is basically bolt-on. One has just got to remove out the wing and screw on these extensions on top of the wing stands.

Breaking R34 Front End - "Store Room Clearance Sale"

I have the below parts from the frontal of a R34. If you've a collision (touch wood!), these parts will certainly come in very useful. Well, besides that, these would be great to be kept as spares or to replace ageing items.

These are the corner cuts off the R34 fenders. With these your conversion to R34 front (from R32/R33/RPS13/A31, etc...) would be much more "easier" and provides a more factory look as it would fit the R34 headlights perfectly.

Yeap, since I've upgraded my rear spoiler to the BNR34 item, there is already no need for the ER34 factory rear spoiler. Repainting update ...

Sorry folks. Didn't really have time to post updates after the repainting works. Thus took like 15 minutes to snap some pics over the weekend to post it here. Actually the car isn't ready yet. I've still got to send her back to be thoroughly waxed. That will take another full day of work. Got to find time this week to get that sorted out.

So here it is, just some simple pics of how the ER34 looked like after fitment of the BNR34 rear spoiler (woohoo!!), re-adjustment + painting of my front bumper, retrimming of the bumper to clear the intercooler hoses, and the repaint of the insides of the hood.

I think I've more or less got the exterior of the ER34 done to my expectation. I've pampered her more than any regular joe will. In due time, I'll probably retire her to be a weekend car ... well unless someone comes knocking at my door with an offer I can't refuse. Hehehe

Anyway, it's time for me to focus more on the heart of the car. Got some parts I could really use for the ER34 lying in my store room. But of course that's not enough, I've still have to scour for some more key items before I can really delve into the heart of the ER34. :)

ER34 at the painters ..... again

Yeap. I've already sent the ER34 to the painters to get my BNR34 rear spoiler fitted. I can't bloody wait to see the end results. I bet it will be smashing. While there, I've also gotten them to fix up my IMPUL 534S front bumper. After the HKS intercooler fitting, the lines of the bumper didn't really match the body lines perfectly due to the intercooler end tanks pressing against the bumper. I've really got to fix that up else it'll look weird (to me at least).

So I got them to shave off a wee bit of the inner part of the bumper and also to reshape the crude cut lines on the bumper air dams to clear the intercooler piping properly. The wire mesh were also reworked and recut to *ahem* professional standards. So that warrants a repaint of the front bumper. :P

Since the ER34 is at the workshop, I've also took the opportunity to get the inner side of my hood painted as highlighted in this blog entry.

Getting back to the BNR34 rear spoiler fitment, the holes does line up perfectly against the stock ER34 rear spoiler mounting holes. The middle plastic holder thingy is of a very slight difference in shape BUT that can be easily rectified via swapping between the two spoilers. Easy peasy. So basically it's plug and play. Superb!

I was there during the test fitment and it's such a drag that the base outline does not match thus exposing the dirt and grime the stock ER34 rear spoiler left behind. Well I can always just touch-up that exposed portion but then the colour matching would be a little off. I'll never be satisfied with that so what else is there to do but to repaint the whole boot! Darn, being fussy always have its price. :(

The ER34 has been at the shop for the past 7 days and it'll take two or three days more to get it all done-up perfectly. Tomorrow, the boot and hood will be painted (I hope!). :)

Somehow I think I treat the ER34 way too well. Heck, I've already lost count of the number of times I got the front bumper repainted. Now I'm a wee bit worried about the price to pay for all these. Yikes!
