Holden Statesman spotted in Kuala Lumpur

The other day I spotted this Holden Statesman on top of a car carrier. I wonder whose is it for......

If my eyes caught the side emblem correctly, this unit is a V6 thus it is 3,600cc with 262hp and 340Nm of torque at 2,600rpm. If only this was the V8 with the massive 6,000cc litre engine.

Loki, you bought another Holden? :P

  1. Haha, no dude. One is enough for now ;).

That looks like a Holden WL Statesman (2004 - 2006).

The WH and WK (1999 - 2004), the two series that perceded the WL, were powered by a 3.8 litre V6 Ecotec engine. The WL brought with it a new 3.6 litre Alloytec V6 engine when it was first launched in 2004, hence succeeding the Ecotec unit.

As to the question of who owns it, your guess is as good as mine.
